iPad Pro will be announced at Sept. 9 event, report claims

Apple’s launch event on September 9 is shaping up to be a blockbuster, with reports on Wednesday claiming the long-rumoured iPad Pro WILL be announced alongside the new iPhones.

9to5Mac, which has been rock solid lately, claims the 12.9-inch tablet will be revealed next week, become available for  pre-order in October and go on sale in November.

The business-focused slate will reportedly run iOS 9.1, feature a Force Touch-based stylus and include a tweaked version of Siri and Notification Center geared towards enterprise users.

According to the report, next-week’s event will feature an “unprecedented,” blitz of product launches, reflecting the size of the 7,000 seater Bill Graham auditorium in San Francisco.

Apple is also planning to launch to new iPhone 6S handsets, while the new Apple TV set-top box is also likely to make it’s big debut during the keynote.

As well as the bumper-sized iPad, there’ll also be an iPad 4 mini announced at the event, which will be thinner than before with an A8 chip.

According to the report, there won’t be an iPad Air 3 announced on September 9th. The sources say it is in the works, but won’t be revealed until 2016. There won’t be any new Macs either, apparently.
