iPad Pro users reporting unresponsive tablets after charging
Angry iPad Pro users have taken to Apple’s support forums to vent their frustration over devices ‘dying’ during charging.
Apple forum users are complaining the new iPad Pro shuts down during charging and can only be resuscitated with a hard reset.
The issue was first reported by Mac Kung Fu. One user said that his tablet shut down and needed to be hard reset any time he charged the iPad Pro for more than an hour.

A hard reset is performed by pressing the power and home button for 10 seconds which will make the Apple logo appear on-screen.
It is unknown at this time whether the trouble stems from a hardware or a software issue but according to Mac Kung Fu, some users who have contacted the Apple store have been advised to return the tablets.
Future iOS updates could fix the issue if it does turn out to be software-related.
An update to the Mac Kung Fu story states that some tablet owners are mitigating the issue by turning the Airplane mode on during charging to stop the device backing up to Apple’s iCloud.
