iOS 10 Update: The full list of compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices

Apple has formally announced the upcoming iOS 10 update at WWDC 2016, but will you be able to get it?
The full iOS 10 update is launching in autumn, probably arriving alongside the rumoured iPhone 7 in September. But you can already access the iOS 10 beta today. If you’re keen to grab the new update, here are the compatible devices:

- iPad Pro (9.7-inch)
- iPad Air 2
- iPad Air
- iPad (4th gen)
- iPad with Retina Display (3rd gen)
- iPad 2
- iPad Mini 4
- iPad Mini 3
- iPad Mini 2
- iPad Mini
iPods that support iOS 10
- iPod Touch (6th gen)
- iPod Touch (5th gen)
Devices that don’t support iOS 10
The devices that aren’t compatible with Apple’s new iOS 10 upgdate include:
- iPhone 4S or older
- iPad (original)
- iPod Touch (4th gen) or older
