In Win has debuted a couple of new premium PC cases here at CES 2015, in the shape of the S-Box and 904 Plus.
Both are variations on well received cases from last year, with the S-Box being a simpler version of the wacky and wonderful S-Frame case and the 904 Plus being an improved version of the 904.
In Win S-Box
The S-box takes the idea of the single sheet of folded aluminium that defined the S-Frame and simplifies it down to have just four bends. The result is an S-shaped wave of aluminium that runs the length of the case, with the drive bays pointing one way and the motherboard and components facing the other way.
A thick sheet of tempered smoked glass covers the latter side giving an uninterrupted view of the inside, while aluminium panels cover the back side.
The ‘front panel’ is mounted on the top of the case where it provides access to four USB ports – each with a nice little cover on them – headphone and microphone jacks, the power switch and power and HDD status lights.
The case can accommodate up to E-ATX form factor motherboards along with two 5.25in drives and 6 x 3.5in (or 2.5in) drives. There’s also space for three 120mm fans or a 360mm radiator in the roof along with two fans or a 240mm radiator in the front.

In Win 904 Plus
The 904 Plus is a more subtle upgrade to the existing 904. It’s only main update is an improvement to PSU compatibility with the allocated space increased in length to 268mm.
Otherwise it’s the same design that won us over last year. A single sheet of thick aluminium wraps round the entire front, top, back and bottom of the case, with smoked tempered glass panels covering the two sides .
While these features already make it a standout design, what really catches the eye is a space that’s left under the drive bays and in front of the power supply. This serves no other purpose other than storage for your bits and bobs – USB sticks and the like – but it’s a neat little twist.
The case can accommodate up to ATX form factor motherboards, 3 x 3.5in drives, 2 x 2.5in drives. Cooling is limited in this case, though, with room for just one rear 90mm fan, one bottom 140mm fan and a 120/140mm radiator.
In Win hasn’t revealed pricing for the models yet but with the original 904 costing around £200, a similar price for both these new models would be expected. Both will be arriving in the next couple of months
