Hub is a Wi-Fi hi-fi that lets you share tunes with pals

Hub is a multi-room system with a difference. It’s geared towards individual listeners, so you plug your headphones into a sound puck and enjoy the same audio as everyone else.
Why would you want to do that instead of listening to the sound from the speakers? Maybe you don’t want to talk to anyone else in the room. Or you want to immerse yourself more in the game or film.
It’s okay, it takes speakers too, so you can blast music into multiple rooms at once, like a much cheaper version of Sonos.
You can personalise the sound for each listener too, so if you like to pump up the volume while your viewing partner prefers to keep it quiet, you won’t be forever fighting over the remote control.

Any connected device can stream audio to the base station, which passes it on to up to four sound pucks.
It’s passed its funding goal and still has 31 days to go. The early birds have sold out, but if you want one, you can pledge $169 (£118). It’ll ship in July 2017.
