Huawei P10 pre-orders now live – and these are the best deals for most people

Pre-orders for the Huawei P10 are now live in the UK. Here are the best early deals and all the details you need to buy one online.

The follow up to 2016’s excellent Huawei P9, the P10 is another seriously tempting handset from the Chinese electronics manufacturer, and the good news is that you can now pre-order it in the UK.

First out of the gate to launch its Huawei P10 pre-order page was Vodafone, complete with a range of contract options.

There’s some tasty tariffs on offer, too. Our favourite deal sees you pay just £10 upfront for the brand new device, with £42 a month (over 24 months) netting you unlimited calls and texts, plus a whopping 24GB monthly data allowance – including 2GB of inclusive roaming data.

That’s a TCO (total cost of ownership) of just over £1000 (£1018) over two years, which is pretty damn reasonable given the hefty amount of data you’re getting – unless you’re tethering 24/7, you’ll find it hard to go over.

The only downside to this deal is that you don’t get any free Spotify or Sky Go bundled in like you do with some of Vodafone’s other P10 packages, but it’s my opinion that the gargantuan amount of data you get more than compensates for this – most people are likely to find it to be the best P10 deal around right now.

You can now also pre-order the Huawei P10 from EE, and there are some decent contract deals on offer.

Our favourite right now see you get the P10 for no upfront cost and pay £46 a month (over 24 months) for unlimited calls and texts, plus an ample 15GB monthly data allowance – EU roaming currently included.

That’s a TCO of £1104 over two years, which is roughly £100 more than the best deal from Vodafone, but it’s worth bearing in mind that EE has the UK’s most comprehensive 4G network and you get access to the BT Sport app for the duration of the contract.

We still think that most people will probably find the Vodafone tariff a better overall package, but this looks like the toughest competition (and best alternative) right now.

The UK’s other major networks – that’s O2 and Three – have confirmed that they will range the P10, but have yet to send their pre-order pages live, though some O2 tariffs are now available from Carphone Warehouse.

We wouldn’t necessarily recommend them unless your data consumption is fairly low (or you want to pay £70 a month for a 50GB allowance…), but you can find them for reference here.

We’ll update this page as soon as we know more about what else is on offer.

Should you wish to buy the phone SIM-free, you can pre-register your interest at Huawei’s vMall UK shop, or buy it SIM-free from Carphone Warehouse for £570 via the link below.
