Huawei launches the ultra-high-end Mate 10 Porsche Design
If you’re in the market for a smartphone that’s a little more expensive – and luxurious – than the iPhone X and Galaxy Note 8, you may want to take a look at Huawei’s Mate 10 Porsche Design.
The ultra-high-end handset, which launched in the People’s Republic of China on Wednesday, November 15, will retail for north of £1,200 (no, we aren’t kidding) when it hits the shelves in the United Kingdom at the beginning of the year.

Truth be told, there isn’t a lot of difference between Porsche Design variant and the standard Mate 10, other than that it comes equipped with 256GB of storage, a “diamond black finish” and a custom Porsche Design interface.
It also ships with a leather folio case and a Porsche Design Bluetooth headset – but that’s where the exclusivity ends.
Under the hood, both the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Porsche Design feature a 6-inch Full HD display (18:9 aspect ratio), a Kirin 970 chipset, 6GB of RAM, a dual-camera setup (20MP + 12MP) and an 8MP front-facing shooter.
