HTC promises world first in world class HTC 10 cameras

HTC’s has dropped another cryptic tease for its forthcoming flagship HTC 10 release.

In a tweet sent out on Tuesday, the company focused on the cameras for the device, expected to be unveiled at a specially convened event in mid-April.

Accompanying an image showing two lenses of approximate size is the text: “World First, World Class, Front and Back. You’ll See. #powerof10.”

What the firm is implying is still up in the air.

Would it be too outlandish to conclude the company is using the same module on both the front and back of the device, offering the same quality shots from either side?

Does the equally sized lens lend credence to rumours the company is going to use a dual lens camera on the back?

In terms of the ‘World Class’ remark, HTC has put pressure on itself to deliver. Perhaps the company has a Nokia-style PureView style release in the offing?

The company has been experimenting with various cameras for a couple of years now, offering a Duo Camera and Ultrapixel snappers in previous smartphone releases.

HTC also pandered to the selfie crowd with the HTC Desire Eye offshoot. Let’s not forget the HTC RE action cam either.

HTC is yet to announced a launch date for its crucial handset, but in-the-know leaker Evan Blass seems to believe it may be taking place on April 19.
