HTC Planning Something Big For 1 September?

If a Facebook invitation to its fans is anything to go by,
HTC could be getting ready to bring us something big on 1 September.

An open invite to all its fans to attend an event in London
on 1 September from 6.30pm to 11pm has been issued on the company’s Facebook.
As well as giving HTC lovers some nibbles and drinks, the company promises “a
few phone treats” at the event too.

While we don’t know for certain that we will get to see any
new hardware from the Taiwanese manufacturer, if past events are anything to go
by (such as the event which saw the launch of the HTC Sensation), we should be seeing some new phones.

HTC Facebook Invite

HTC has previously indicated that it will be launching up to
eight new handsets before the end of the year. Among those which have been
captured in leaked images include the HTC Bliss and HTC Ruby smartphones.

There is also the possibility that we will be seeing the
Puccini (pictured above), the larger 10in successor to the Flyer.

The event is open to everyone over the age of 18 on a first
come, first served basis, and you’ll have to agree to HTC taking a few
snaps of
you.

We’ll obviously be all over the event on 1 September and be
bringing you all the news of any product announcements taking place on the
night.
