HTC One M8 leaked again in extensive video

The HTC One M8 has leaked again in an extensive video on YouTube ahead of its official launch tomorrow.

HTC has scheduled the official HTC One M8 launch for tomorrow, March 25, but thanks to shed loads of leaked information we pretty much know everything about the 2014 flagship.

The latest leak is yet another extensive 14-minute long video posted to YouTube, revealing the now fairly familiar design with the dual-sensor rear camera.

Sadly, the latest video is in German and none of our team speaks the lingo so we can’t decipher anything crucial from the voice over.

However, it serves the purpose of giving our eyes another feast on the aluminium body of the HTC One M8 before it goes official.

It is heavily expected to feature a 5-inch full 1080p HD display running on a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB of RAM.

The HTC BoomSound dual front-facing speakers are both still there, sitting either side of the screen. What’s immediately different at a first look is the lack of soft touch navigational buttons. Thanks to Android 4.4 KitKat, these have been relocated to the touch screen as part of the updated HTC Sense 6 UI.

The rear UltraPixel camera will supposedly retain the 4-megapixel UltraPixel resolution, but be paired with a secondary rear sensor to improve depth and add the ability to refocus your shots after they’ve been taken.

No doubt with the new HTC Sense 6 UI, HTC will make improvements to the HTC Zoe photography software, with an app tweak expected as well, and also enhance the HTC BlinkFeed news aggregator home screen.

The HTC One M8 release date is expected to occur the same day as launch, March 25. This information was leaked by Carphone Warehouse last week, as the retailer confirmed it would stock the One M8 from 4pm tomorrow.

“Shortly after [the event], the new HTC One (M8) handsets will be transported directly from the venue of the launch announcement to six Carphone Warehouse stores in London,” reads the press release. “Westfield Stratford, Westfield White City, Oxford Circus, Centrepoint and Tottenham Court Road stores will all be hosting special events celebrating the HTC launch with entertainment and giveaways as well as the first chance for customers to get their hands on the new device.”
