HTC M7 release date and price leaked

The HTC M7 price and release date have been leaked online, with details of HTC’s next flagship Android smartphone appearing courtesy of an internal document from a French mobile retailer.

The document, from Phone House, the French arm of the Carphone Warehouse Group, has detailed the HTC M7 release date and price, as well as offering insight into the specs of the rumoured HTC handset. Showing a claimed HTC M7 picture, the leaked images have since been removed.

March 7 is listed as the HTC M7 release date on the Phone House document, and as HTC is having a dedicated event on February 19 where the HTC M7 is speculated to be officially revealed, this date would make sense.  The rumours HTC M7 price has seen a €649.99 (£560) RRP listed for a SIM-free handset, quite a lofty price tag that sets the HTC M7 even above the cost of the Apple iPhone 5.

Specifications details keep close to the rumoured specs lists that have already appeared online, including a 4.7-inch 1080p screen. However, the image included in the document is a render that has already been seen online, so the validity of the document may not be totally sound.

HTC M7 Features

If the French Phone House document is to be believed, the HTC M7 specs fall in line with rumours, with the upcoming HTC flagship handset offering a 4.7-inch screen with Full HD 1080p resolution.

Running Android Jelly Bean OS, the HTC M7 would be equipped with the latest version of HTC Sense 5.0 interface, 4G LTE capabilities and NFC technology.

Potentially boasting a 13-megapixel rear camera, keeping the next flagship HTC handset in line with rumoured Samsung Galaxy S4 specs, the HTC M7 could also have decent 32GB of internal storage as standard, perfect for storing those good quality photos.
