HTC hints at upcoming HTC One follow-on

HTC has teased what most of the tech world already expects, that a direct HTC One follow-on will be officially unveiled during the company’s upcoming March 25 launch event. Surprise.

Having recently issued invites to next month’s launch event, the Taiwanese manufacturer has today teased that the much mooted HTC One M8 will be the star of the show.

No mention of the phone’s name was made, but the company did tease a cloaked image of a handset.

Describing the current HTC One as the “world’s best smartphone,” Cher Wang, HTC’s Chairwoman stated: “On March 25 we will show you that the world’s best smartphone is about to get even better.

Speaking during the company’s MWC 2014 press conference she added: “I wish I could tell you all about it right now but we have to keep the surprise for just one more month.”

I guess we will just have to keep waiting. Until then though, check out all the latest Samsung Galaxy S5 news and rumours ahead of tonight’s unveiling.
