HTC Deluxe DLX 1080p Android phone pictures leak

Images of the so-called HTC Deluxe DLX have leaked online, confirming that HTC’s high definition Android smartphone is on its way to Europe.

The pictures have been brought to light over at GSMArena, and they appear to show a similar device to HTC’s existing high definition smartphone range.

HTC launched the HTC J Butterfly in Japan in October, and followed that up with the November launch of the HTC DNA in the US. Both phones feature a 5-inch 1080p Super LCD 3 display, which produces a pixel density of 440ppi.

That works out to be around 25 per cent higher than existing 720p smartphone displays like that of the Samsung Galaxy S3.

These images appear to show a global version of the HTC DNA. The source claims that the device goes under the code name of the HTC Deluxe DLX, and that it will sport the same display and the same 1.5GHz quad-core CPU as the aforementioned phones.

The images also seem to confirm that the HTC Deluxe DLX will come in three initial colours – black, white and brown.

As for a release date, the source of the leaked images claims that we’ll received more information on December 6 – which is around two weeks away.
