HP has just introduced newly redesigned Pavilion all-in-ones with an “architecturally inspired” look.
The new line consists of 23.8-inch and 27-inch touchscreen models, with options to include the latest AMD or Intel processors.
And while the models will no doubt prove perfect for families when it comes to performance, it’s the micro-edge display, which cuts the bezel down to almost nothing, that makes the new Pavilions stand out.

HP has also managed to cut down the dimensions of the new Pavilions, with the screens boasting a 8.5mm thickness that makes them approximately 40% thinner than the previous generation.
Both come packing edge-to-edge IPS touch displays, which boast a wide-angle view of 178 degrees, and will display images in Full HD resolution.
Adding to the aesthetics, there’s a fabric overlay on the speakers, which happen to have been custom-tuned by B & O Play for enhanced performance.
On the hardware side, you’ll find a web cam included that pops up only when in use, and HP will allow you to add a further infrared camera to use face recognition tech.
There’s also the option to add up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of storage, while the 23.8-inch model comes with the choice to add AMD Radeon R7 discrete graphics.
HP also says it has minimised the pre-installed software, which hopefully means the new Pavilions will come with minimal bloatware, but we won’t hold our breath.
The new models are available to order now in the US starting at $749 (about £575). There’s no word on international pricing just yet but stay tuned.
