How to block Apple Music ads in iTunes

Not everyone wants to use Apple Music, but that doesn’t stop the Cupertino-based company from aggressively pushing its music subscription at you in iTunes.

It’s annoying at best and obnoxious at worst, but fortunately, all it takes is a few clicks to disable all those pesky Apple Music plugs.

All you need to do is enable a couple of restrictions:

1. Navigate to iTunes > Preferences

2. Click on the ‘Restrictions’ tab

3. Tick ‘Apple Music’ and ‘Connect’

And voilà. No more unwanted Apple Music pimping every time you fire up iTunes. Just the nice clean interface we all know and enjoy.
