Hitman reboot confirmed with exclusive PS4 content

Square Enix has confirmed a Hitman reboot is coming to console and PC next year.

Ahead of the Square Enix press conference tomorrow, the developer has confirmed that there’s a brand new Hitman game on the horizon.

The game will see Agent 47 travel the world to take out some high profile and celebrated targets, in what Square Enix is calling “the most ambitious Hitman game yet”.

The brief teaser trailer shown during the PlayStation E3 2015 press conference, we saw the most mature looking Hitman to date.

Although this will be a cross-platform release, Sony has confirmed that Hitman will have some PlayStation exclusive content.

That takes the form of six unique contracts, which will only be available on PS4 – well for a limited time at least.

There’s also a Hitman beta that will be exclusive to PS4 gamers that pre-order the game.

We’ll find out more about Hitman at tomorrow’s Square Enix press conference.
