Hideo Kojima’s next game will be a PS4 exclusive
Hideo Kojima’s next project will be a PS4 exclusive, as a result of partnership between Kojima Productions and Sony Computer Entertainment.
Hideo Kojima has officially left Konami, after the controversial development and aftermath of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.
The next project by the mastermind behind Metal Gear will be PS4 exclusive, Sony announced today.
Playstation posted a video to their official Youtube account titled “Announcing a partnership with one of the most celebrated developers in history.”
The video features President of Sony Computer Entertainment Andrew House announcing the partnership with Hideo Kojima by his side.

Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions will be working directly alongside Sony for the creation of their new game.
Kojima has said he is “thrilled to embark on creating a new franchise,” hinting that this may be a long term deal between the two parties.
The developer revealed in a tweet yesterday that his contract with Konami has officially ended, making this the perfect time to announce a new partnership.
Kojima’s new studio is called Kojima Productions, the very same name it had back at Konami.
The studio includes members who worked on a number of Metal Gear Solid titles, many of which were also Playstation exclusives.

We know very little about Kojima’s new game, other than the studio behind it and its PS4 exclusivity.
It could be something in a similar vein to Metal Gear, or a project that is completely unexpected and new.
Sony will likely give Hideo Kojima quite a bit of creative freedom; considering his dedicated following and history with Metal Gear.
