Harry Potter Enhanced Editions arrive on Apple iBooks exclusively

Apple is now peddling “enhanced” versions of the entire Harry Potter book series.
The new offering is on sale exclusively through Apple’s iBooks Store, available for use on iPhones, iPads, the iPod Touch, and Macs.
You can buy the individual books right now for $9.99 apiece, all of which feature a number of changes from the original series.
The books are now clad with interactive animations and “elaborate artwork”, as well as annotations written by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling.

The actual text, however, has not changed – you’ll still be reading the same stories Rowling originally penned.

Apple’s iBooks Store is available to access in 52 countries globally, although the Harry Potter Enhanced Editions are only available in 32 countries.
The newly revamped series is available in English, although pre-orders are available for the French, German, and Spanish versions.
