H1Z1 adds new Auto Royale mode as it leaves early access
Daybreak Games has announced the official launch of H1Z1 alongside an all new Auto Royale mode.
Having been in early access development for an extended period of time, the popular Battle Royale title has now released version 1.0 on PC.
To celebrate the occasion, Auto Royale is now available for all players through a free downloadable update.
“Auto Royale doesn’t rinse and repeat what is currently available on the market, it turns the genre on its head with a fresh approach — arcadey, vehicle-only battle royale unlike anything anyone has experienced before,” said H1Z1 General Manager Anthony Castoro.

Featuring up to 30 teams of four players, Auto Royale has you battling to be the last vehicle standing in a chaotic skirmish of metal and bullets.
The mode introduces two new vehicles to H1Z1 in the form of the Sedan and Armoured Recon Vehicle, both of which are kitted out with a variety of cool tools engineered to cause havoc.
In terms of weapons, you’ll have access to the usual assortment alongside a light machine gun that is exclusive to Auto Royale.
