GTA 5 Rockstar Editor coming to PS4 and Xbox One next month

Rockstar Games has announced the popular Rockstar Editor feature for PC gamers will be extended to PS4 and Xbox One owners from next month.
The next update for the game, scheduled for September, will allow GTA 5 players to record, edit and share videos from in-game footage.
Beyond the feature itself, the official update will also bring a range of new and improved Rockstar Editor tool that’ll also be available for PC users
There’ll be additions to the ambient audio and sound effects library as well as ‘snapmatic integration,’ which Rockstar says allows gamers to “export any still frame at a marker point straight to Snapmatic, giving you ultimate freedom when searching for that perfect camera angle.”
There’s updates to Director Mode, new fonts and the ability to copy and paste marker properties.

Users can also create their own machinima through the Director Mode, which enables users to stage sequences using locations, characters, and props from the game.
There’s no specific date for the update yet (via Engadget), but we’ll let you know when it drops.
