Graphite iPhone 5S shown off in new video

A new graphite version of the iPhone 5S has appeared in a video posted on YouTube, offering Apple fans an additional colour option for the upcoming flagship.

With the heavily rumoured September 10 launch event just weeks away, it seems Apple should be bringing out a four different colours for its iPhone 5S when it launches.

We’ve already seen the gold or champagne iPhone 5S casing appear in multiple photo and video leaks online, but this is one of the first times we’ve seen the graphite option in the flesh.

Visibly lighter in colour than the black iPhone 5, the graphite option will be the fourth and final colour launching alongside the black and slate, white and silver and final gold and white iPhone 5S models.

Expected to launch on September 10 alongside the budget iPhone 5C, the iPhone 5S release date has been tipped for September 20.

iPhone 5S Rumours
Featuring an identical design to the current iPhone 5, the next flagship will only differ internally. The only way you’ll be able to tell whether a handset is an iPhone 5S will be the elongated flash on the rear of the device, which will house a dual LED flash for better low light photography.

Complementing the dual LED will apparently be a 12-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 lens.

Potentially featuring a brand new Apple A7 processor, the iPhone 5S could be 31 per cent faster than the iPhone 5 as well.

The latest rumours suggest the iPhone 5S will have a toughened convex home button to incorporate a fingerprint scanner, potentially the showstopping signature feature for Apple’s next flagship.

Concerning the screen, the iPhone 5S will have a 4-inch 1,136 x 640p resolution panel, the same as the iPHone 5, but is rumoured to introduce IGZO technology made by Sharp. This would make it more power-efficient than the current screen technology, but without any loss in image quality.

An IGZO screen would help improve the battery life of the iPhone 5S, which supposedly will get a minor bump to a 5.92Whr unit.
