Here’s when The Grand Tour season 2 will air on Amazon Prime
Season 2 of the Prime Video exclusive driving series The Grand Tour will arrive on December 8, Amazon has confirmed.
The show, starring Top Gear alum Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, returns a little over a year after the debut season aired.
The announcement comes with a brand new trailer, which you can see embedded in the tweet below. Kudos for the use of Paul McCartney and Wings’ Live & Let Die as the soundtrack.
The crew travelled to five different continents to film the second season, with Croatia, Mozambique, Dubai, Spain, Switzerland, Colorado and New York among the locations featured.
Messrs Clarkson, May and Hammond will hope the sequel season is better received than the initial run. The show received lukewarm reviews from fans and critics.

It arrives after Hammond suffered a serious accident earlier this year and a brush with death for Clarkson following a bout of pneumonia.
Hammond’s firey crash was previewed in the first trailer for season 2 released back in July.
We also know the new series will feature the following motors, among others;
- Lancia Rally 037
- McLaren 720S
- Bugatti Chiron
- Jaguar XJR
- Rimac Concept One
New episodes will be released weekly with every one available on demand thereafter.
