Got a Gear VR? Download the Oculus-produced LeBron James film
If you’re one of the lucky tech fans who received a Samsung Gear VR for Christmas, then one of the world’s finest athletes has an experience to help introduce you to the world of virtual reality.
Oculus VR has teamed up with NBA star LeBron James to release a 12-minute virtual reality film under the iconic player’s Uninterrupted video diary project.
The free-to-download live action film called Striving for Greatness is exclusive to Samsung’s virtual reality headset, but it’s likely to be available for the Oculus Rift headset whenever that goes on sale.
Some of the content has already appeared as part of Oculus owner Facebook’s 360 degree video push.
The entire 12 minute clip, which focuses on James’ training regime, has been produced by Montreal-based Felix and Paul Studios, which is funded by Oculus.
