GoPro Hero 4 Session now half-price
GoPro has announced a new low price for its ultra-compact action camera, the GoPro Hero 4 Session.
We were impressed with the GoPro Hero 4 Session when we reviewed it earlier in the year. Here was a tough little 1080p action camera with a 170-degree wide-angle lens that was a full 50 percent smaller than its Hero 4 siblings.
To use GoPro’s own analogy, it’s about the size of an ice cube. It’s also very intuitive, with a single control button and a tiny LCD display providing you with the key information.
It wasn’t cheap, though. With a launch price of £330, you were paying the same price as the larger, more capable Hero 4 Silver.
GoPro has decided to change that – and quite dramatically too. The company has announced that the Hero 4 Session is now available for just £159.99, which is less than half its launch price. This appears to be a permanent price cut, too, rather than just a quick sale for the Christmas period.
Besides being really small, the Hero 4 Session is mighty tough. It’s waterproof to 33 feet without requiring any additional waterhousing, so it’s ideal for watersports.

The Hero 4 Session comes with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support, so it can hook up easily to your smartphone via the GoPro app for viewing, editing, and sharing your footage on the fly.
The GoPro Hero 4 Session is available at its new price now over on the GoPro website.
