Google Photos will now chart your very own Love Story
The excellent Google Photos app is putting the Google Assistant to work once again; this time to pull together those precious moments between users and their significant others.
If instructed to, by tapping a new card in the Assistant tab, Google Photos will automatically create Love Story videos featuring the happy couple.
The Love Story card, which is accessible by tapping the Movie icon, will help you “celebrate a romantic relationship” according to Google (via 9to5 Google).
From there you’ll need to select two people (there’s no threeways in Google Photos for folks who’re into that sort of thing), and the app will do the rest within a few minutes.
The videos don’t have to include you, they could feature images of your parents together or other couple’s you’re friendly with or related to, providing you have a good selection of photos of them together on your phone.

Once complete, users will receive a notification within the app with the opportunity to save the movie. The video itself features a set of photos backed by acoustic guitar music.
Love Story is the latest card added by Google, following the recent Valentine’s Day and Father’s Day movies. There’s others for pets, memorials, selfies, smiles and children.
Google is constantly improving the Photos app, which is an exceptional way to back up photos and receive the benefit of automatic album creation, stylised photos collages, movies and animations.
At the I/O expo in May Google revealed the app now has half a billion members viewing five billion photos every day. The company also added shared libraries, selective desaturation of backgrounds in photos and one-tap actions.
