Google offering free Star Wars Google Cardboard viewers

Google is jumping on board the Stars Wars bandwagon because, let’s face it, who isn’t?

The company is offering free Star Wars-themed Google Cardboard viewers to account holders in the United States with free shipping.

Statesiders will be able to choose from four designs, including BB-8, Kylo Ren, R2-D2 and First Order Stormtrooper. There’s a limit one per person, while supplies last.

The Star Wars-themed Cardboard viewers were first rolled out last week by US-network Verizon, alongside the launch of VR experiences within the official Star Wars app.

Five experiences are already available within the Jakku Spy section of the app, with four more available between now and the release of The Force Awakens on December 17.

If you’ve got a buddy in the United States, perhaps you can jump on board too?

Although be quick, because supplies are limited.
