Google Nexus 7 16GB – Where to Get One

The 16GB version of the Google Nexus 7 tablet has completely sold out on the official Google Play store. You can’t even pre-order one at present.

You could always opt for the 8GB edition, which is in stock, but in our opinion 16GB is the only way to go. Shop further afield and you can get hold of one right now – a number of online retailers still have one in stock.

Your best bet right now is Ebuyer, which offers the tablet with free next working day delivery for £199.99. At the time of writing, 260 are in stock. Fill ‘yer boots.

The Carphone Warehouse website is also displaying the tab as “in stock”, at £199. However, the best deal of the lot is available from Tesco Direct. It charges the same price, £199, but £5 voucher codes are available for new customers, saving you a few quid. We’ve not tried it on a Nexus 7 purchase ourselves, though. Google is your friend, readers – particularly prescient in this case.

What about the other big online retailers? Amazon and Play do not stock the tablet at present, and while Dixons, Currys and PC World do, they’re currently out of stock, displaying an availability date of August 10. Why wait?
