Google just made its best iOS app available on Android

Google has this strange habit of releasing new apps for iOS without rolling them out on home soil; the chief example being the excellent Gboard keyboard.
The firm has rectified that today by finally releasing the excellent add on under the guise of an update for the existing Google Keyboard app.
Widely regarded as one of the best third-party keyboards on iOS, Gboard brings the Google search experience directly to the keyboard.

Complete with gesture typing, the keyboard also recognizes when you type popular search terms like celebrity names and suggests a Google search.
It also offers the option to replace text with emojis wherever possible.
As 9to5Google points out, the update is only available in APK form, but is due to land on the Google Play store any second now.
