Google’s Chromecast Ultra and Daydream VR can now be pre-ordered

Two new Made by Google products are now on sale at the company’s official store.

The Chromecast Ultra and Daydream VR headsets can now be pre-ordered ahead of delivery within the next 3-4 weeks.

The Daydream VR, announced at the company’s showpiece event earlier this month, is available for £69/$79.

Designed for use with the Google Pixel phones, and other still-to-be-annoucned Daydream Ready handsets, the lightweight, comfortable headset is a step up from Google Cardboard.

Google has a number of exclusive experiences lined-up, including a Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them game.

Meanwhile, the Chromecast Ultra dongle is also £69/$69 and available to pre-order from today.

The device will broadcast content in 4K and HDR and features a built-in Ethernet adapter.

The higher-resolution content will be available through Netflix, YouTube and Google Play TV & Movies.
