Microsoft has confirmed Gigantic is coming to Windows 10 and Xbox One with cross-play support.
Gigantic, an upcoming MOBA hybrid, is going to be a launch title for Windows 10, with a cross-play offer for Xbox One too.
“We’ve partnered with Microsoft to publish Gigantic on Windows 10 and Xbox One,” said developer Motiga. “A simple statement, but it says a lot. For starters, it affirms the faith we’ve had in Gigantic all along that it represents something bright, refreshing and fun in a sea of sequels and knock-offs.”
Gigantic is a part shooter, part action game and part MOBA. You choose one hero from a selection and you’ll need to level them up during battle.
You and four other heroes are brought together in a team battle, so you’ll need to use teamwork and strategy to take out the other team.
Each team has a Guardian and you’re ultimate goal is take out the enemy Guardian. The Guardian must therefore be protected at all costs.

The heroes themselves have physics-based abilities that change up the gameplay, giving you the element of surprise against your enemies.
This gameplay is set in what Motiga calls a world of mystery, with battles rewarding the tactics and skills of the best players.
There’s no confirmed release date for Gigantic yet, apart from a vague “later this year” comment from Microsoft today.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Motiga to bring Gigantic to Windows 10 and Xbox One,” said head of Xbox Phil Spencer. “We’re always looking for ways to bring new, innovative experiences to gamers, and Gigantic being one of the rare games that appeal to fans across multiple genres is a great example of that.”
