Gigabyte P2742G gaming notebook announced
Taiwanese IT manufacturer, Gigabyte, has announced its latest gaming notebook, the Gigabyte P2742G.
Offering a 17.3-inch Full HD 1080p display with Nvidia GeForce GTX 660M GPU graphics, the Gigabyte P2742G has been designed to give gamers high speed performance for ultimate PC playability.

The Gigabyte P2742G features a stunning 17.3-inch LED backlit screen that offers gamers Full HD 1080p graphics powered by a 3rd Generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processor with up to 24GB of RAM for superfast performance.
Smooth textures, increased realism and all round better visual gaming experience, even in the most graphically intense games, can be achieved due to the high-end Nvidia GeForce GTX 600M GDDR5 graphics processor with 2GB of dedicated RAM.
Users can install as many games as their itchy trigger fingers can play with the Gigabyte P2742G providing up to 2TB storage across two bays. Support for Raid 0 technology means the Gigabyte P2742G offers noticeable speed performance upgrades.
Gamers will be totally immersed into the world of their chosen game due to the aforementioned graphics and with THX TruStudio Pro audio technology, the aural experience won’t be lacking either.
Outside of the gaming specs, the Gigabyte P2742G is still a hi-spec laptop, running Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro and packing a Blu-Ray Combo Drive into its angular body for high definition TV and Film entertainment when users don’t feel like gaming. Three USB ports, HDMI and a 9-in-1 card reader also adorn the Gigabyte P2742G’s chiseled edges.
