Google’s streaming device is gratis when you take out a subscription to Spotify Premium for three months, costing you £29.97. That’s the standard rate of £9.99 a month.
The offer starts today, and is valid until February 28, or until stocks run out.
Google’s Chromecast lets you stream music, films and TV shows from your smartphone or tablet to your TV. So if you’ve got a meaty set of speakers connected to your telly, why not use them to enjoy what’s on your phone?
Chromecast works with iOS and Android devices, Chromebooks, Mac computers and PCs. If you’re using your phone, it becomes the remote control, letting you pause, play and adjust the volume. As well as Spotify, Chromecast supports Netflix, YouTube, BBC iPlayer and loads more apps.
