GeCube Presents Radeon X700 Graphics Cards

GeCube's PCI Express ATi Radeon X700 series boards will be available in the UK from November.

GeCube, the brand-name face of Info-Tek, has released a new series of PCI Express graphics cards based on the Radeon X700. The X700 archtecture features eight pixel pipelines with six vertex engines. It features recent ATi technology such as SmartShader, Videoshader, Hyper Z HD and Videoshader HD, features designed to improve the colour saturation level of images in games and applications.

The mid-range graphics card is built on a 0.11 Micron process enabling the X700XT to feature a core clock GPU speed of 475MHz. This is backed with 256MB of GDDR3 memory. The X700 Pro runs the GPU at 425MHz and comes with either 128MB or 256MB of GDDR3 memory.

Larry Yeo, General Manager of Info-Tek’s Multimedia Business Unit said, “The market has waited in anticipation for the high-speed efficiency that PCI Express cards promise — the Radeon X700 graphics cards complete GeCube’s PCIe product line, allowing GeCube to provide consumers with the widest-ranging choice in graphics cards while establishing a solid foothold in the market.”
