Gears of War 4 trailer will give you goosebumps

Gears of War 4 is set to release worldwide on October 11, and now we have a creepy new trailer giving us a glimpse of things to come.

The short teaser begins with iconic protagonist Marcus Fenix planting a tree for his son, JD Fenix.

This flashback is accompanied by JD Fenix fleeing from a terrifying new enemy, chasing him through the night as he tries to navigate a dark forest.

The brooding atmosphere is made even worse by a haunting cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s The Sound of Silence.
