The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 – Everything we know about the sequel

Nintendo has finally revealed new footage of The Legend of the Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, which includes a first look at the gameplay.
While many had speculated Zelda would be a playable character, we only saw Link in the trailer. However, the world now seems more vertical, with floating islands in the sky which includes Hyrule castle.
The trailer also teased some more abilities to play around with, as Link seemingly reversed time and phased through a rock.
Breath of the Wild 2 will be a direct sequel to the 2017 masterpiece that seemingly continues the narrative after Link vanquishes Calamity Canon from the Land of Hyrule.

Trailer
Nintendo released the brand new Breath of the Wild 2 trailer during E3 2021, showcasing new gameplay elements and a twist on the Hyrule map we saw in the preceding game. Check it out below.
Sporting the same engine that powered the first game, it looks positively gorgeous, with a more vertical map allowing for some breath-taking sights.
We’ve also included the initial teaser trailer for Breath of the Wild 2 from 2019, which may give a better look at the story and why Hyrule is once again in danger.
It’s evident something very, very bad is going down in Hyrule. The desecrated body very much looks like Ganon – but this game takes place after Ganon has already been banished from the land by the Hero of Time.
Both Link and Zelda play a prominent part in the trailer, enraptured by whatever spooky occurrence has befallen them. It seems that whatever they encounter has a major impact on the land of Hyrule, perhaps flooding it with monsters and demons we must contend with.
