Futurama: Release the Drones coming to mobile

Futurama is back as a new mobile game called Futurama: Release the Drones.
The satirical sci-fi show from the man who created The Simpsons is coming back, but this time in mobile game form.
Futurama: Release the Drones is now in development at Germany-based Wooga, and is due to be released on iPhone, iPad and Android in the near future.
As is the way with Futurama, the game will feature the Planet Express crew fighting the evil MomCo.
Apparently, you’ll need to solve puzzles by collecting drones that will help you win the futuristic delivery service war.

We’re expecting Return of the Drones to take the form of other animated TV series spin-offs like The Simpsons: Tapped Out or Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff.
What kind of sweetens the deal when it comes to Futurama: Release the Drones though is that Monkey Island designer Dave Grossman is working on the game.
Grossman is joined by former Futurama writer and executive Patric Verrone too.
There’s no word on a release date or price as yet.
