The industry darling begins a similar campaign to the one that brought us the video iPod.
Apple is up to its usual fun and hi-jinks again, it has released another teaser to the world’s press.
From my point of view, I’d have to say NO. Even for Apple the ad is a little coy and suggests an extension to an existing product range – say Intel powered iBooks, iMacs with large screens or an AirPort update. In fact, maybe I’m investing too much in semantics but ‘fun new products’ just doesn’t sound that fun?
Still, I might as well publicly invite the possibility of a hefty volume of egg on my face. After all, it’d be worth it to invoke Sod’s Law just to get my hands on that heavily rumoured touch screen iPod. By all means, mark it in your calendars’ people, but I’m thinking more along the lines of a March/April launch for the one we all want to see…
