With the Xbox One release date now set as November 22, Microsoft has confirmed that eager gamers placing Xbox One pre-orders will be rewarded with a free copy of Forza 5.

Coming free with pre-orders of the Day One Edition Xbox One console, the complimentary copy of Forza 5 will be available to gamers as a digital download.
For those who would rather take their next-gen console to the pitch rather than the race track, retailers are continuing to offer the Xbox One FIFA 14 bundle. Both deals follow the E3 confirmed Xbox One price of £429.
“Pre-order your Xbox One Console: Day One Edition now and get a free download code for Forza Motorsport 5,” retailer Amazon said in announcing the deal. Other outlets offering the Forza 5 Xbox One pre-order deal include GAME and ShopTo.
Set to go head-to-head with the PS4, the Xbox One release date was yesterday confirmed as November 22, just one week before the UK based PS4 release date on November 29.
As well as confirming the console’s date of arrival, Microsoft has announced that a new batch of Day One Xbox One consoles are now available for advanced order after the first wave sold out.
“We are humbled and gratified by the tremendous interest in Xbox One from game fans everywhere,” Yusuf Mehdi, Vice President of Xbox Marketing said. “We sold out of our pre-order supply faster than at any other time in our history and we are on path to have the biggest launch of an Xbox ever. We look forward to celebrating with millions and millions of gamers this holiday.”
He added: “As a result of this incredible consumer demand and the development progress on Xbox One, I am thrilled to share that today we are making available a limited number of additional Xbox One Day One consoles for pre-order. We have coordinated with our retail partners to make it easy for you to reserve your Xbox One today.”
