Forza 5 free this weekend on Xbox Live Gold

Microsoft has announced that Forza Motorsport 5 will be free to download all weekend for Xbox One users via Xbox Live Gold.

Gamers can snare the racing title from now until Sunday night. Best of all, it’s not a spared back demo, but the real deal. Any Achievements will remain unlocked if and when gamers decide to go all in and buy the title after the free trial is up.

It comes after Microsoft revealed plans to offer similar promotions last month. Max: The Curse of Brotherhood was also offered for free for gamers wanting a full taste before handing over their hard–earned cash.

Those who do download Forza 5 won’t be able to access any downloadable content without paying, but it’s unlikely you’ll get bored of the main game in the 72 hours you get without having to stump up.

Forza 5 was one of the Xbox One’s launch titles and is exclusive to the Microsoft console. The Xbox One has sold more over the summer following the release of a cheaper model, but is still being outstripped by Sony’s PS4.
