Flatev is a new way to make fresh, tasty tortillas at home.

The fillings are up to you. So it doesn’t take the cooking element out of the process completely.
According to the manufacturers, the perfect tortilla can be easily rolled, and will hug the fillings without breaking. Not sure if yours cuts the mustard? It should leave your plate and fingers clean after eating it.

The dough pods only contain natural ingredients, and come in packs of eight. Just like with a coffee machine, you will be tied to using that make of pods. But as long as you’re ok with that, it should make for a much simpler, quicker process than making them yourself. Hopefully tastier, too.
It’s passed its funding goal and still has 29 days to go. The cheapest early birds have sold out, but you can still pick one up for $239 (£165). Which is quite a lot of dough. (Sorry.) It’ll ship in August, but only to the US, so you might have to get a friend to send it on for you.
