First TwitchCon announced for September

Twitch has announced the first ever TwitchCon event is coming to San Francisco this September.
The first ever Twitch conference will be held at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco, California from September 25 – 26.
Twitch.tv host Marcus Graham announced the TwitchCon news during the company’s weekly update show.
The first ever TwitchCon is taking place in the same venue where GDC is held every year, just as it is next week.
“Twitch broadcasters have the most passionate fans, so we want to create an amazing experience where they can come together in person,” said Twitch CEO Emmett Shear.
“TwitchCon will be an opportunity for the entire community – broadcasters, game developers, viewers, and us – to play and learn together.”
Those who wish to attend TwitchCon will be able to meet popular broadcasters and “learn from the community’s thought leaders”. You’ll also be able to experience live content as it is broadcast directly from the San Francisco conference centre.
There’s now a dedicated website for TwitchCon, so you can register for updates about the conference via email.
