Final Fantasy 9 is now available on PS4 complete with enhanced visuals, trophy support and more included for the beloved JRPG.
Often regarded as one of the finest entries in the legendary Japanese game series, Final Fantasy 9 first launched for the original PlayStation back in July 2000.
Since then it has been ported to PS3, PSP and, most recently, PC. The Steam release saw the title improved with new visuals alongside an assortment of new features.
The PS4 version was announced and released earlier today during Sony’s Tokyo Games Show press conference.
It appears to be a worldwide launch, as we’ve managed to purchase it through the UK PlayStation Store.

You can now purchase Final Fantasy 9 for £16.99 or £13.59 if you happen to be an active PlayStation Plus member. All purchases come with an exclusive theme and eight avatars.
Final Fantasy 9 takes the franchise back to its roots with class-based characters and a medieval fantasy setting that’s brimming with atmosphere.
The PS4 version also comes with in-game boosters that can provide the player with unlimited gil, top level characters and other bonuses.
