Final Fantasy 15 celebrates PC release with huge new update

Final Fantasy 15: Royal Edition is now available across PS4, Xbox One and PC and alongside it comes a beefy new update.

Update 1.22 provides the solo campaign and Comrades multiplayer expansion with new quests, trophies and additional content not available previously.

New quests have been added to Chapter 10 which provides the narrative with further depth while giving us more opportunities to explore with our favourite best boys.

Character dossiers can now be accessed from the archive and act as a convenient way of reading up on the game’s lore and backstory.

On consoles, all of the Royal Edition content comes in the form of a 4.83GB download which includes all season pass expansions alongside a new dungeon, vehicles and first-person mode.

Players who already own the original game and season pass can purchase all of the Royal Edition content for £11.99 on Xbox One and PS4, if you don’t fancy picking up another copy.

We were hugely impressed with the Windows Edition of Final Fantasy 15 when we had a chance to play it recently. With the right power, it’s an absolutely gorgeous treat in the visuals department:

“Only time will tell how it fares on a wider spectrum of hardware, which will undoubtedly be the deciding factor for new and seasoned players alike. However, if you’ve yet to jump into Final Fantasy 15, this is most definitely the best time to give things a try.”
