Famous guitar make Fender has announced its first ever range of in-ear headphones.
You probably associate Fender with top level guitars and amps, but it is evidently diversifying into the world of consumer audio tech.
The company has just announced the Fender Pro In-Ear Monitors range, a series of five new in-ear headphone sets. As you might expect, none of them are the kind of cheap buds you’d throw into a sports bag.
Fender last year acquired Aurisonics, an American high-end audio equipment company, and it’s this company’s products that have essentially been repurposed and rebranded under the Fender name.
Each pair of Fender Pro In-Ear Monitors comes with a deluxe carrying case, an assortment of SureSeal tips, and a cleaning tool. The top models also feature 3D-printed Digital Hybrid Technology housings, which involved scanning thousands of ears to produce a universal fit.

The top two models, meanwhile, boast Hybrid-Dynamic tuned Balanced Armature Array technology for “a rich, full frequency response with substantial bass.”
As you might have gathered, the Fender Pro In-Ear Monitor range won’t be cheap. The Verge points out that prices will start from $99, and will run right up $499 when they become available in March.
