Far Cry 4 Escape from Durgesh Prison DLC coming January 13

The Far Cry 4 Escape from Durgesh Prison DLC will be released on January 13, 2015.
 
Ubisoft has confirmed the first DLC for Far Cry 4 will arrive on January 13, as a nice new year’s present.
 
“Get ready to Escape from Durgesh Prison on January 13, 2015. Players will have to complete a series of challenges while racing against the clock to earn themselves a spot on the leaderboards – but if you go down, you won’t getting back up”, said Ubisoft.
 “Escape from Durgesh Prison will introduce permadeath into the world of Far Cry 4, so you’ll need to be extra careful when planning your exit strategy.” 
The DLC will see Ajay and Hurk wake up in Yuma’s prison, with nothing to their name – no weapons, no hope.
 
In order to escape you’ll need to complete challenges to unlock skills and find yourself some weapons.
 
You’ll also need to watch the clock as you’ve got limited time to reach the extraction point.

If you die, you will have to start the entire mission all over again. However, when you do, you’ll have all the knowledge and skills gained in your previous attempt.
 
Escape from Durgesh Prison is available to be played both in single-player and co-op modes.
 
Anyone with the Far Cry 4 Season Pass, you’ll get Escape from Durgesh Prison for free. However, it can also be purchased as a standalone DLC pack for $9.99 (around £6.50).
 
The Far Cry 4 Season Pass retails for £23.99 and will get you the Escape from Durgesh Prison DLC, some exclusive content and all other DLC as its released.
