Fallout 4 Season Pass could be the best offer yet

Bethesda has announced the Fallout 4 Season Pass, offering all the DLC content ever for one affordable price.

The Fallout 4 Season Pass will cost $30 (approx. £20), and according to Bethesda, anyone who buys it will get all the Fallout 4 DLC the publisher ever releases. All of it.

In a post on Bethesda.net, the publisher said the first of the Fallout 4 DLC will arrive in early 2016, following the game’s November 10 release date.

“We’ve always done a lot of DLC for our games,” said Bethesda. “We love making them and you always ask us for more. To reward our most loyal fans, this time we’ll be offering a Season Pass that will get you all of the Fallout 4 DLC we ever do for just $30.”

“Since we’re still hard at work on the game, we don’t know what the actual DLC will be yet, but it will start coming early next year. Based on what we did for Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Skyrim, we know that it will be worth at least $40, and if we do more, you’ll get it all with the Season Pass.”

Bethesda has quite the reputation when it comes to DLC for its games too.

Take the Fallout 3 DLC for example. Between January and August 2009, Bethesda released five DLC packs for the game: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta.

Hopefully it’ll be a similar amount of content for Fallout 4, if not more.

This DLC is also in addition to “regular” free updates for the game, which will bring not only fixes but new features.

“We’ll be doing regular free updates to the game, and like Skyrim, these will come with not just fixes, but new features. For Skyrim we added things like mounted combat, legendary mode, kill cams, visual enhancements and more. We’ll work with all of you to figure out what new things you’d love to see added to Fallout 4, whether they are small tweaks or new features.”

Bethesda confirmed the new PC Creation Kit will arrive in early 2016, which you can use to create Fallout 4 mods and share them with other players.

Mods will eventually come to Xbox One and PS4 too.

“Thanks again to all of you! The support and excitement you’ve given Fallout 4 has blown us away. It’s energized us even more to do everything we can in these final months to make this our best game yet. We absolutely can’t wait for you to play it, and share your adventures with us and each other.”
