Fallout 4 mods aren’t coming to the PS4 any time soon

Bethesda has announced that Fallout 4 mod support for PS4 has been delayed due to porting issues on the platform.
Mod support for the post-apocalyptic RPG has been available on PC and Xbox One for several months now, leaving PS4 owners waiting patiently for the feature.
Unfortunately, Bethesda has confirmed that mod support will not be coming to Sony’s platform this month as originally planned.

The publisher is not providing a new date for mods on PS4, but we can safely assume it is working with Sony to resolve any issues.

Sony has limited fan creations on PS4 to 900MB, while Microsoft enables mods up to 2GB in size on Xbox One. Bethesda has said it is working with Sony to increase this limit.
It appears that Bethesda wishes for clarity between both platforms, meaning mods can be created and shared regardless of the console they happen to be developed for.
