Bethesda has announced Fallout 4 has finally gone gold, with just three weeks until its anticipated release.
Good news everyone! Fallout 4 has officially gone gold, finished and ready to be pressed onto retail copies of the game.
“Going Gold” essentially means that development on a game is complete, so the publisher can send it off to be printed ready for distribution.
Bethesda announced the news on Twitter saying “Oct 23rd – the bombs have fallen. Fallout 4 is complete. All 27 versions.”
So that means Fallout 4 will launch in just under three weeks time, which is a pretty scary thought.

Fallout 4 was first announced at the dawn of E3 2015, with a full blown gameplay reveal to follow at Bethesda’s conference.
The highly anticipated sequel will be the first entry in the franchise since Fallout: New Vegas in 2010, developed by Obsidian Entertainment.
Fallout 4 will run on a modified version of Skyrim’s Creation Engine, revamped with an all new character editor and first-person combat options.
Last week, Bethesda revealed a Fallout 4 Xbox One Controller, alongside a whole load of Fallout-related goodies.
As you might expect, Fallout 4 will also include a Season Pass. However, downloadable content for the title is yet to be detailed, so we’d hold off for now.
Fallout 4 will launch on November 10 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
