Mark Zuckerberg is now worth nearly $50 billion

With around 21% of the planet using Facebook at least once a month, it’s no surprise the company founder is flush with cash.
Mark Zuckerberg’s net worth has risen to an incredible $47.1 billion, a new report reveals.
According to Forbes magazine, the Facebook CEO is currently the richest person in the US aged under 40.
So extreme is his wealth that
Moskovitz, co-founder of Facebook, has an estimated net work of $9.6 million.
Third on the list is Jan Koum, the mind behind WhatsApp – a service sold to Facebook back in 2014 as part of a $22 million deal.
Interestingly, Forbes reports that eight of the nation’s wealthiest entrepreneurs under 40 “can trace their wealth back to Facebook”.

Latest estimates put Facebook’s monthly active users at 1.545 billion, far above all other rival social networks.
Instagram, for instance, boasts around 400 million monthly active users, while the same metric for Twitter stands at around 307 million.
