The England cricket team is in New Zealand for a two-test match series as it looks to continue its recovery from a thrashing in The Ashes series against Australia.

Ben Stokes is back in the side after missing the Australia tour due to legal difficulties. His return providing skipper Joe Root with a huge boost as England look to bounce back.

Stokes helps England’s chances with the bookies, who make them slight favourites to win the first test at 6/4. New Zealand sits at 9/4 while the draw is also 6/4.

The first test match takes place at Eden Park in Auckland with the first delivery slated for 1am UK time on Thursday (March 21) morning.

In the UK, Sky Sports Cricket has the rights to screen the series, with coverage commencing at midnight UK time.
